The Financial Services Tribunal (FST) is a tribunal governed by the Financial Services Tribunal Act (FST), and it draws on a broad cachement of financially-related Ontario legal fields, called 'regulated sectors'. These include topics embodied in these statutes:
Credit Unions and Caisses Populaires Act, 2020
Financial Professionals Title Protection Act, 2019
Insurance Act
Loan and Trust Corporations Act
Mortgage Brokerages, Lenders and Administrators Act, 2006
Pension Benefits Act
Prepaid Hospital and Medical Services Act
You won't find a 'list' of these statutes and 'regulated sectors' in the FSTA because the connection is made from these regulated sector ('home') statutes to the Tribunal [ie. PBA s.1(1), 88-89 refers to the FST, not the other way around]. As well, further appeal routes (if any) from the FST to a court are also initiated in such home statutes [ie. PBA s.91(1): "A party to a proceeding before the Tribunal under section 88 or 89 may appeal to the Divisional Court from the decision or order of the Tribunal."].
